In the State of Connecticut, by law, a title insurance agent must be a practicing attorney (CGS § 38a-402(13)). Our national law practice extends to the state of Connecticut, allowing us to properly issue title insurance policies in accordance with state statute. We directly employ partner-level attorneys who are admitted in the State of Connecticut in order to conduct this business and do not outsource the engagement of Connecticut attorneys not directly employed by our firm.
