We work closely with the lender, Co-op board or managing agent, the existing lender (if applicable), buyer/borrower, seller, and their respective attorneys. Our firm manages the process for the lender client, evaluating the property profile, identifying existing UCC’s, and contacting the managing agent and other necessary third parties in order to expedite the process. As multi-state attorneys, we evaluate the intricacies of the state’s application of the UCC and the cooperative ownership structure to draft and retrieve all of the necessary documentation necessary to encumber the ownership interest in the cooperative unit.
